Manaslu sells Sanyu custom IC sockets to semiconductor suppliers around the world. We carry specialized sockets, with a focus on sockets for power semiconductors, a category that has gained much attention in recent years.
Power semiconductors are put to a wide variety of uses, including in industry, consumer electronics, and automobiles, and they are capable of handling high power and offer fast switching.
In order to ensure semiconductor performance, product testing on semiconductors must be done under conditions that are much more extreme than normal. The sockets used to test these semiconductors are thus routinely exposed to extremely harsh conditions. As such, designing testing sockets for packaged devices can be difficult.
We carry a range of sockets, with a focus on those for demanding powertrain-related semiconductors. Our sockets support a variety of devices, including not just packaged devices, but assemblies with cooling units and bare die KGD systems. Demand for dynamic characteristic sockets is becoming especially high.
